Business Development Analyst

How you will contribute

The BDA will become a trusted team member and the face of Yaba with target sellers, acting as the initial point of contact of the company. 


The role will be primarily focused on outbound activities like cold-calling and email campaigns with the main goal of reaching out to sellers and understanding if they are willing to sell their business. 


You will have the opportunity to be closely mentored and professionally developed by more seasoned sales and M&A professionals.

As a member of this team you will
  • Source attractive investment opportunities via proprietary channels, connecting with the Amazon FBA community, and building broker relationships.

  • Cold Calling/Emailing: Reach out to prospects with the sales pitch through phone calls, personalized emails, or other methods. Be respectful and professional, and focus on Yabas benefits. 

  • Scheduling initial prospecting meetings in order to pre qualify deals. Do not be afraid of cold calling volume and rejections.

  • Follow-Up: Persistence is key in outbound sales. Follow up with leads who have shown interest or who may need more time to make a decision. Regular, polite follow-up can increase conversion rates.

  • Qualification: Qualify leads to ensure they meet our investment criteria and have a genuine interest in their business.

  • Meet or exceed the assigned quota of outreach touches per month.

  • Work with our internal data scientists to ensure you have access to the right data to help you find attractive opportunities

  • Working together with the Marketing team to evolve inbound prospecting strategy 

  • Help as needed to build awareness on special projects / events, PR, corporate marketing, etc .

  • Maintaining all activities in CRM.

  • Potentially help the M&A team on analyzing the opportunities.

Who will thrive in this role

These are some of the traits we would want you to bring to the table:

  • Energy, power, resilience, constance & perseverance, emotional intelligence, people driven, curiosity and excellent communication and presentation skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1-4 years of proven insidesales experience as Business Developer

  • Familiarity with outbound activity & CRM systems and practices

  • Ability to overcome and handle objections. Be prepared to address objections and concerns from prospects. Develop strategies to overcome common objections and maintain a positive conversation.

  • Spanish and English are mandatory to be spoken fluently (level C1) + any other European language. German is a plus (big community of Amazon sellers in Germany).
